Grade 10th Mid-term Blog

My Midterm Experience
After four and a half months of dedicating myself to academics, the midterm week has arrived in my school—a tense week that determines our grades for knowledge and GPA, and the results of our hard work will be revealed.
How to balance preparing for exam sets with numerous projects was not an easy task for me. Some projects counted as midterm grades, while others didn’t. However, they do need a great amount of time spent to finish, which makes my time budget much more limited. At that time, I realized that time management skill is a key factor that can settle the achievement that I will get.
I’ve begun my prepare for my midterms well before Thanksgiving break and kept studying consistently throughout the three weeks to the exams. Yet, I couldn’t ignore the feeling that my efforts weren’t enough. I often found myself worrying and wanting to study even more. As a result, my schedule became quite packed, prioritizing tasks during the day and squeezing in as much study time as possible.
What truly fueled my motivation was the atmosphere in my dorm suite. Seeing everyone so committed to their studies inspired me to keep pushing forward. Each day, we followed a shared routine: studying right after school (at 3:30 PM), uniting for dinner at 5 PM, and then diving back into our books until midnight. This collective effort and camaraderie created an unforgettable experience that made the challenge feel more manageable.
In the end, all my efforts paid off—I achieved excellent grades across all my subjects! This journey taught me the value of perseverance, time management, and the support of a motivated community.
