A hangout day with friends!
It was a sunny and warm day in the middle of winter in Houston, which honestly felt kind of surprising. My friend group and I decided to go to Chinatown to get some Asian food.
We ate Chinese food at East Wall Restaurant, including Beijing roast duck, and drank milk tea. During the week, I had been really stressed because I had multiple IAs to work on, along with tests and quizzes. It felt like everything was happening at once.
But going out that day reminded me of something important about myself. I actually love talking and communicating with people. Spending time with my friends, sharing stories, and just laughing together helped me relax more than staying alone and overthinking everything. Talking things out made me feel lighter. Instead of keeping my stress inside, I felt like I could finally breathe a little.
