Fundraising in school for community project
I am a founder of a club named “Mayflower Teach For All” in the Village School. This club is teaching the needed English of an NGO named “Ong Sonhos De Infância FC” virtually.
Each week, we are going to have 3 sessions that are divided depending on the children’s ages. Because of the need for a translator, we need to ask for a translator, and we need to pay for them for each class. Then, our club thinks about how about fundraising in school to get money to continue running the project. As Christmas is coming, the chilly weather is surrounding us in Houston. How about having a cup of hot Chocolate Bomb and enjoying it with friends? Then, we think of hand-making hot chocolate bombs to sell during all lunchtimes in our school and after school!.
Making chocolate bombs was such a hard and delightful hand technique! However, our members had more time to talk and understand each other more! From buying the ingredients to dividing the tasks from making to decorating. It was during our midterm week; however, we tried to balance and divide the academic and fundraising evenly and achieve our goal.
Many teachers and peers notice our purpose and are really happy to buy because they also want to contribute and give a hand to help the children learn English that will improve their future!
