New Metro in Vietnam

After more than ten years since Vietnam began to work on the metro, our new metro has just been inaugurated in District 2! Luckily, it was inaugurated just two days before the break when I came back to Vietnam. So, I had the chance to try it out right when it was new! I felt really proud! The metro runs at more than 100 km/h, which makes every trip to places much more convenient. Moreover, seeing the smiles and admiring eyes from the people made me really amazed by the scene too.

I feel proud of the country where I was born, as it is moving toward a more technological and future-oriented direction. While other countries have already launched metro systems, now Vietnam is catching up with them to become a more modern, developing country in the world.

It was a great experience where I could see District 2 from above, not by riding on the road. Moreover, with a high speed of more than 100 km/h, it was really quick between the stations, making every ride fast and effective.

By experiencing this, I learned different ways to bring Vietnam to an even more developed country. Knowing the path to further development will probably lead to even more progress.
