President – Mayflower Foundation

2024-2025 was a remarkable year for me, since in just a year, I was able to step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself more. Getting out of the warm cocoon of my family’s protection, I started with a study abroad decision, joining the Model United Nations, and being a tutor in the Mayflower Success Society, where I teach Brazilian children from NGOs to get in touch with English. The most significant step that I took this year was to apply for the president role for Mayflower Foundation Gen 2.
Being the president of the project was a challenging and deeply rewarding journey. It wasn’t just about managing tasks, but it was about holding a team together, nurturing the bond between core members and the larger volunteer group. I had to constantly balance many responsibilities: meeting deadlines, solving problems as they came up, and reaching out to potential partners to keep our mission moving forward. There were moments of pressure and uncertainty, but also incredible growth. Leading this team taught me the true meaning of collaboration, responsibility, and perseverance—and I’m truly grateful for every step of the way.
I am currently working on two events. In Ho Chi Minh City. To Nursing Home Dieu Phap and Truyen Tin Orphanage. I will constantly update the information throughout the journey!
