Spring Concert 2026

Spring Concert 2026

On April 15th, 2026, our concert band performed its final concert of the school year. For me, it was more than just a performance—it felt like the closing of a chapter. As I stood on stage, I realized this would be the last time I would play alongside the seniors, people I had grown with, learned from, and shared countless rehearsals with. That thought stayed quietly in the back of my mind the entire time.

The concert itself was beautiful. From the middle school band to the high school ensembles, every group brought their own energy to the stage. Dressed in black, everyone looked unified, focused, and fully committed to the music. The directors guided us with such intensity and care, making sure every note carried meaning to the audience.

But for me, what mattered most wasn’t just the sound—it was the feeling. The feeling of being part of something bigger, of creating music together, of standing under the stage lights knowing this moment wouldn’t come back in the same way again. In the next few months, I know I will miss this deeply—the nervous excitement before playing, the connection between musicians, and the quiet pride after the final note fades.
