25 dollars lunch in Osha Thai Kitchen

25 dollars lunch in Osha Thai Kitchen

My friends and I all love Osha Thai Kitchen. The food is delicious, the vibe is great, and the service is amazing. The staff check on us throughout the meal; they’re always happy to help, and they even give us candy at the end.

One day, my friend told me Osha was running a $25 meal deal and asked if we wanted to try it. Of course we did! After a stressful week, we went on Saturday.

We ordered chicken satay, fried chicken wings, pad thai, Thai curry, and fried rice. My favorite was the fried chicken. It came out hot and so crispy. The satay was smoky and perfect with the peanut sauce. But the biggest surprise was the fried rice. It was fried rice, and for a second I felt like I was back home.

Every dish came out hot, and the portions were big. Honestly, it was worth $25.
I went with my American, and the food turned into a conversation about culture. We each talked about food from our own country and what we do before, and we invite everyone at the table to eat before we start, especially the older people. My Korean friend said they say “jal meok,” which means something like “I will eat well,” and thank the person who made the food afterward. My American friend said that she said grace before dinner.

I love trying food from that day. I realized the best part is the people you share it with.
