Phu Quoc Summer Vacation With My Family
This summer was honestly one for the books. My family and our neighbors—who are just as obsessed with business and building their vision as we are—decided to hit pause on the grind and take a trip to Phú Quốc. The whole vibe of the trip was just to chill out and get closer as families.
We did 3 days and 2 nights at Melia Vinpearl, and the best surprise was that we got our own private villa. It was absolutely stunning and set the perfect mood for the weekend.
Day 1:
As soon as we touched down, we hit the ground running. On the first night, we went to a local spot for dinner and then headed straight to the night market. Walking around, checking out the stalls, and just soaking in the energy was the perfect way to start the trip.
Day 2:
The next morning, we dragged ourselves out of bed early to catch the morning beach vibes. The water was unreal—so crystal clear that you could see schools of cá song swimming right around your legs. At one point, we were having a swimming race, and a bunch of tiny fish actually started swimming right along with our neighbor and the rest of us. It was so funny.
While we were out there, our neighbor—who has survived a rip current before—showed us exactly how to spot one and escape it safely. That sparked a whole conversation where we all stood in the water swapping crazy ocean stories. Someone had been stung by a stingray, someone else got hit by a jellyfish, and another had been caught in a current. It was actually so fun just sharing those memories.
After that, we headed back to crush a massive buffet breakfast because we had a huge day planned. We spent the entire day out:
Safari & Aquarium: The aquarium was gorgeous. Every single fish looked unique and just mesmerizing.
Thrill Rides: Then we hit the amusement park. We went on the rollercoasters, the spinning planes, and pretty much everything else. I had a blast, and honestly, screaming for your life on a rollercoaster is great for family bonding.
By the end of the day, I was completely exhausted but I washed up, did my makeup, and went to take photos with our neighbor. She was being the ultimate hype-woman, taking the photos with so much effort, and they turned out so beautiful.
That night, all eight of us piled into the living room. We stayed up until 11 PM, eating fruit, laughing, and just having a real heart-to-heart conversation about life.
Day 3: The Ride Home
The next day was time to go home, but the fun didn’t stop. Even in the taxi back, we were just telling stories and laughing the entire ride.
It was honestly the perfect Phú Quốc getaway—full of good energy, great talks, and memories I’ll keep for a really long time.
