A day with dad at the mall
Today, my dad and i decided to hang out at the mall. We went straight to Sumo for some BBQ. It had been forever since we last had grilled beef, so we were incredibly excited! We ate so much food it was crazy—just non-stop beef. I vividly remember how they ran out of water, so I ended up ordering four cups of black tea ice cream just to survive the food coma because the meat gets so heavy without a drink! I tried every single marinade and cut available, from beef brisket and beef hump to pork ribs. My dad and I were eating so happily we didn’t stop for a straight two hours =))
After that, my dad had to run some errands, so I wandered around the mall to do some shopping while I waited for him. I stopped by Muji first—everything was so pretty—and picked up two gel pens because they write so smoothly. Then I went down to Cotton On and found the most gorgeous off-the-shoulder hoodie! I also did a quick lap around Uniqlo before heading up to meet back up with my dad.
Once he finished his errands, we went to find a spot to grab a drink. We ended up at Cheho Tea; I tried the grape tea with crystal boba, and my dad got jasmine tea. While we drank, we had a really cool discussion about what makes Mega Mall Thảo Điền different from Giga Mall, talking about the business side of things. My family and I had just eaten at Giga Mall the other day, so we noticed a ton of differences. Honestly, Giga Mall seems way more crowded and has a much better selection of stores compared to Mega Mall!
It was such a fun, productive day with my dad.
